Marie

Marie is the President and Founder of Young Women Power, Inc.
Marie was born on July 3rd in Chicago, Illinois, where she was raised by her mother Beverly Lampkin-Roach.

Marie is a proud wife and mother, she is employed as an Administrative Assistant/HR Representative at a Private Health & Science College in downtown Chicago. She has 11+ years in the Business Administrative field where she developed strong interpersonal communication and executive administrative skills.  

Marie loves God! She gave her life to the Lord at a very young age, she endeavors to live a Christ centered life but makes no claims of perfection.  Marie is a proud member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of her Pastor, Elder Ronald S. Blumenberg Sr.. In August of 2018, Marie was licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Sixth Jurisdiction of Illinois, under the leadership of Bishop Clowdell Williams Sr. in the Church of God in Christ, Inc.; and deemed as one of the youngest licensed in the organization. 

Marie has a passion for women. She experiences the pain and struggle of being a young woman everyday. Marie witnessed in her life and in the lives of other young women, constantly being torn down and belittled regardless of reason; followed by a lack of love, support and dependency upon each other in the female community. In that, Young Women Power was birthed. It is Marie’s desire to use YWP to reconstruct the identity of young women all over the world. To give purpose and speak life.

It is her hope and prayer that as you follow this organization, you’re encouraged and empowered through her personal life experiences, life related guidance, empowerment programs, conferences as well as testimonials and features of other young women.
